How To Overcome Your Fear of Speaking
Overcome Your Fear: You Are Already Extraordinary
Throughout history people have "overcome their fear" and made a difference in this world.
Study these people to gain wisdom and courage for your journey.
Abraham Lincoln
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe”.
“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing”.
Dale Carnegie
“Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it … that is the quickest and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear”.
“Most of have far more courage than we ever dreamed possible”.
Napoleon Hill
“A goal is a dream with a deadline”.
“In every adversity lies the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit”.
Jesus Christ
“From a wise mind comes wise speech; the words of the wise are persuasive”.
“Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight and understanding”
Winston Churchill
“Never give up!”
“ A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”.
Success seems at times, an imaginary creature, not capable of capture.
There is nothing you cannot tackle.
Everything you do, is a huge event, you just do not think about it at the time.
From the second you leap out of bed in the morning, you are learning and growing, you are impacting other people.
Success is there for anyone who will get off their seat and chase it down. It’s all in your mind!
We become the product of who we associate with and the books we read.
Be particular of what you read. Ask yourself “Will the information in this book help me to reach my goals?”
Plan your work and then work your plan.
Henry Ford said:
“You can do anything if you have enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hope rise to the stars.
Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eye, it is the swing in your gait, the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of your will and your energy to execute your ideas. Enthusiasts are fighters.
They have fortitude. They have staying qualities.
Enthusiasm is at the bottom of all progress.
With it there is accomplishment ... Without it there are only alibis”.

Most of us believe an emotion, such as happiness, comes first.
Then we do whatever we do, in reaction to that particular emotion.
Not so. The emotion arises simultaneously with the act.
So if you want to be enthusiastic, you can get there by acting as if you were already enthusiastic! Sometimes it takes a while, but it always works if you stay with it, no matter how ridiculous you feel doing it.
If you want to feel happy, find the happiest song you know and sing it.
