Mr Keith Lightfoot was a guest lecturer in the third year Bachelor
of Medical Imaging programme paper “MRT Management and Professionalism”.
Mr Lightfoot delivered his lecture over two hours on Thursday 8th
May.
This is the first time we have worked with Mr Lightfoot and hopefully
it will not be the last.
From the outset it was clear this was going to be something out
of the ordinary.
The students had come along, many reluctantly, to hear how to get
the best out of their lives and promote themselves in the professional
arena.
Keith is a dynamic and enthusiastic speaker who uses humour and
story telling to bring out his key points.
By the end of two hours even the most sceptical students were relaxed
and interacting with Keith and his message.
Students were requested to provide feedback on Keith’s lecture
and all feedback received was very positive.
This response is remarkable, especially as the lecture was the last
formal class for these students before exams.
I can thoroughly recommend him to entertain, motivate, challenge
and educate your students.

I would
like to thank you for coming to talk to our year 13 students
earlier this term. We greatly appreciated you
giving up your valuable time to talk to the students about key advice
that will assist them as they move towards future choices with prospective
careers.
The girls were captivated by your anecdotes, sound advice and life
experiences. They were able to empathise with you and thoroughly
enjoyed the great sense of humour with which you imparted this.
Your pacy style of address kept everyone totally involved and provided
plenty of ideas for discussion and reflection amongst the students.
We are certain that this talk will give the student s excellent
reason to question their motivation and attitudes towards many aspects
of their lives.
Thank you once again for giving us an opportunity to listen to your
ideas and for providing such a worthwhile hour of entertainment,
tempered with good, sensible advice.
P.M.
