NSA is a national not-for-profit association with thousands of members around the world.

They have chapters in every major market and sister organizations across the globe.

NSA is committed to helping its members achieve their highest levels of competence as professional speakers.

To fulfill that commitment, the NSA Board of Directors has adopted Professional Competencies to be mastered by Association members. They range from awareness of the speaking industry and industry professionals, to developing and presenting topics, to marketing and managing a speaker's business.

You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the advanced communication and advanced leadership programs, where you can further refine your communication and leadership skills. The advanced communication program features 15 manuals on such topics as public relations, management and technical presentations.

The advanced leadership program gives you the opportunity to serve in leadership positions at the club and district levels, where you learn how to motivate and lead others to achieve goals.
